At Closet Cash Co, we personally inspect every item before it's listed. We carry one-of-a-kind designer and vintage pieces, and we take authenticity and honest condition grading seriously — because your trust is what keeps us in business.

Authentication

Every item is reviewed in-house before listing. We check:

  • Hardware & construction — stitching, zippers, logos, and finishing details consistent with the brand
  • Labels & date codes — interior tags, serial numbers, and date stamps where applicable
  • Materials — leather, canvas, lining, and hardware quality compared against known authentic references
  • Provenance — sourcing history and any included original receipts, dust bags, boxes, or cards of authenticity

Entrupy Authentication (Available for Select Items)

For eligible luxury handbags and accessories, we offer Entrupy authentication as an optional add-on service. Entrupy uses AI-powered microscopic imaging to verify authenticity at a scientific level, providing a digital certificate you can keep.

Condition Grades

We use straightforward condition grades so you know exactly what to expect:

  • New / Never Used — unworn, tags attached or original packaging intact
  • Excellent — minimal to no signs of wear; looks nearly new
  • Very Good — light wear consistent with careful use; no major flaws
  • Good — visible wear or minor imperfections noted in the listing description and photos
  • Fair — noticeable wear or flaws; priced accordingly and fully disclosed

Any specific flaws — scuffs, stains, hardware wear, missing accessories — are called out in each item's individual listing description. When in doubt, ask us before buying.

Photos

Every listing includes photos of:

  • Overall front and back
  • Interior and lining
  • Hardware and closures
  • Labels, tags, and date codes
  • Any visible flaws or wear areas

Returns

We stand behind our descriptions. If an item arrives significantly not as described, contact us within 3 days of delivery and we'll work to make it right. Please review our full return policy for details.
